Book->Movies...A Transformation....A Post By Holly.

Here is a summary, per say, that I wrote awhile ago talking about some of the literature being made into movies. I felt like posting it up on here too, so enjoy!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, it's common knowledge by now that Twilight is going to be made into a movie, but have you heard of these?

Maximum Ride:
It has been announced that this thrilling book series (written by James Patterson) will be interpreted into a major motion picture.
The release date is a undescripted 2010 and the cast list is no better, only being mentioned on chat boards.

InkHeart:
A delightful adventure, intriguing the avid book lover with it's tale about every reader's dream. Scheduled to be released in early 2009, this movie has a great outlook at the boxoffice with a brilliant cast including Brendon Frasier.

Uglies:
No doubt you have seen this series covering the shelfs at Books-A-Milliion, but can you see it covering the movie screen? This controversial story is past the "rumored" stage but has not yet been announced to a point of details.

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2:
Many of us fell in love with the heartwarming tale of undying friendship when it was in print, and many more were taken with it when it was pushed to the big screen. Yet, how will it fare with a sequel? One can only hope that a follow up to such a wonderful picture will be equally as true to the written counterpart.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince:
To be the sixth movie in a seven part series, this has a lot of expectations to live up to! Most of us have grown up with this epic literature, and memorized every release date of the movie versions, but will the "greatness" continue?
Well, no duh.

Hope you enjoyed my little sum up!
